Cora

Cora is a 3.5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer cross with that classic GSP mix of elegance, intelligence, and quiet confidence.
Her story is a hard one: Cora was rescued after being thrown from a car on a highway. Despite this betrayal, she has held onto her trust in people, and that says everything about who she is.
In her foster home, Cora has been nothing short of impressive: impeccable manners, a perfect house routine, and truly excellent recall. She forms a strong bond with her humans and prefers to stay close - she’s the kind of dog who keeps an eye on you, not out of anxiety, but out of connection.
A few cool things about GSPs that Cora carries beautifully:
They’re known for their intelligence and ability to learn quickly, and Cora picks up routines and cues with ease. Originally bred as hunting companions, they have strong prey drive, are incredibly versatile and love having a “job,” making Cora a perfect hiking partner.
Their athleticism is balanced by an ability to settle nicely at home when their exercise needs are met.
Cora enjoys long walks and hikes and would love an active home, but she’s calm, composed, and easy to live with indoors.
She is wonderful with kids, gentle with other dogs, ignores cats and is naturally respectful in shared spaces.
Cora does have some separation anxiety - which, given her past, is understandable. With a bit of patience and consistency, she will soon gain confidence and feel safe.
She’s not just a good dog - she’s a deeply loyal, thoughtful companion who stays close, learns fast, and gives her whole heart!

Just look at those adorable speckled paws and that freckled nose - it’s impossible not to smile. Norma is a 2-year-old, 40-lb Pointer cross with a calm, gentle nature and a wonderfully sharp mind. She’s a very clever girl who picks up new commands quickly and genuinely enjoys learning, making her a joy to train and spend time with. Norma is currently looking for her forever home, where she can share her warmth, intelligence, and playful spirit.
Norma was rescued as a teenage puppy by a 100 Tails member and is now thriving in a foster home. She’s learning the ropes of being a well-mannered house dog and making excellent progress with potty training. Norma loves people, gets along well with other dogs, and is always eager to learn, play, and engage with her humans.
She is microchipped, fully vaccinated, and ready to start her next chapter.

Meet Tom Belkin — our fluffy little miracle looking for a forever home!
Belkin is a 2-year-old Russian Laika (husky mix), about 45 cm tall, and truly the kindest soul. He’s intelligent, affectionate, and endlessly optimistic — the kind of dog who greets each day with quiet joy and a wagging tail.
Life hasn’t been easy for him. Belkin survived a car accident that left him with a broken pelvis and an old hip injury. He carries a little limp as a reminder, but it doesn’t weigh down his spirit. He walks happily, enjoys moderate strolls, and plays gentle games — always cheerful, ready to share his love.
What makes Belkin special is not just his resilience, but the way he radiates calm and kindness. He loves cuddles, gets along beautifully with other pets, and has a way of making everyone around him feel at peace.

Anie’s journey began on the streets, where she was found begging for food. With the help of the wonderful volunteers from Dog's Ambulance, she recovered and transformed into a healthy, happy, and confident young dog, now ready to join a family of her own. We at 100 Tails are proud to have Anie!
Anie is gentle, breathtakingly beautiful, and open-hearted enough to make new friends in every new place. She may start as a wallflower, but she will fit in just well once you earn her trust. She’s a true sniffing genius, curious about the world around her and happiest when she has the chance to explore outdoors. She would thrive in a home where she can enjoy plenty of activity—whether it’s hiking, running, swimming, or just joining you on long walks.
Anie adores her people and is incredibly gentle with kids. She would do wonderfully as a second dog in an active household, as she is both submissive and playful.

Lapsi

This beautiful, fluffy terrier mix wandered into a quiet village one day—and decided to stay for a little while. She had no collar, no direction, but the kind people she found saw something in her eyes that made it impossible to look away.
We soon learned that Lapsi did have owners, but they had cast her out, claiming she wasn’t "meant to be a house dog." They let her roam the village alone, and when we came to take her, they were relieved—glad, even—to see her go. They helped lift her into the car without a second thought.
It turned out Lapsi was in pain. She had a condition that prevented her from fully closing her eyes—something that required urgent surgery. We don’t know how long she lived like that, but we know she’ll never have to suffer again.
Why the name Lapsi? She came to us on Children’s Day. A quick search told us that lapsi means "child" in Finnish. It felt perfect: on a day meant to protect the innocent, we rescued this little "child" of a dog.
Lapsi is now healing, safe, and ready for a fresh start. She’s about 1–2 years old, with a calm and affectionate nature, a pair of irresistibly floppy ears, and a quiet strength that touches everyone she meets.

Marla is a British Shorthair cross. She is a well-mannered, sweet-tempered, calm gentle cat, always happy to cuddle and purr. Great with other cats, good with kids and dogs if they are not too annoying. Docile and pretty easygoing, Marla is smart, not very talkative, and needs moderate enrichment, including simulated hunting games and interactive play.
