Meet Archie, our lively, affectionate Russian Hunting Spaniel with a wonderful talent for making himself your best friend!
Archie is the perfect dog for both adventures and sofa time. He is happy, healthy, and ready to find his forever family.
Archie does have a little quirk: he injured his right eye some time ago, so it doesn’t open quite as widely as the other one. We performed the surgery and corrected the outer eyelid, which had an inward fold (entropion). It was rubbing against the eye and, it seems, causing a painful area on that side of his face. Archie can distinguish light from darkness, and the eye isn't anymore irritated and uncomfortable. The eye doesn’t require any further treatment. If anything, it just adds a bit of character to his already very expressive face.
Due to the many difficult ordeals he has endured, Archie is initially wary of strangers -whether people or other animals - if they try to engage with him too quickly. He needs time to reassure himself that he is in no danger; once he does, he becomes the very picture of friendliness.
What we especially love about Archie is how closely he connects with people. Spaniels were bred to work alongside humans, and Archie has that wonderful ability to pay attention to every little thing his person does. He watches your face, picks up on your tone, and seems to know what you want almost before you ask. He isn't simply obedient - he genuinely enjoys being in sync with you.
And despite all that lively spaniel energy, Archie is remarkably easy to have around. At home, he is calm and polite, respects the rules, doesn’t destroy things, and happily settles down when it’s time to relax. Give him a chance to explore the yard or head out for a walk - and the playful side comes right back.
He’s great on leash, travels well in the car, and has all those irresistible spaniel traits: the curious head tilt, endless interest in what you’re doing, and a little sense of humour that always makes you smile.
Archie loves being outside and would be happiest with people who enjoy walking, exploring, and taking their dog along for everyday adventures. He is friendly with adults, children, and other dogs, combining enthusiasm with a lovely, boisterous nature.
He is also amazingly respectful with cats (but may be interested in their food).
Archie is one of those dogs who doesn’t just want a home. He wants his people — someone whose side he can stick to, whose adventures he can join, and whose every little gesture he can learn.

There was a time when Sari had every reason to believe the world was a terrible place. Her story began on a busy highway, where this sweet Cocker Spaniel-type girl was found with a head injury and only two functional legs. Despite her pain and fear, Sari still chose to approach people. Hopping along on her two working legs, she chased passing cars, desperately hoping someone would stop and save her.
Thankfully, our friends came across this heartbreaking scene and couldn't simply drive away. They rushed Sari to a veterinary clinic, where her head wound was stitched up and she underwent medical examinations. She was then brought to us at 100 Tails for further treatment of her leg injuries.
We managed to repair her hind leg and successfully reset her hip joint. Today, Sari can get around on three legs and sometimes uses all four - a remarkable improvement from where she started!
Unfortunately, her front leg remains partially functional. The veterinarian suspects nerve damage, although her bones and ligaments are intact. This kind of injury can be difficult to diagnose, even with an MRI. There is still a chance that her nerve function may gradually recover, but nobody can promise that it will. For now, her rehabilitation plan includes walking, running, and, most importantly, swimming. So, Sari, it seems you're officially excused from doing nothing all day!
And what about Sari's personality? - Here's where this girl truly astonishes us.
Despite everything she has endured at human hands, Sari has never stopped trusting people. She adores absolutely everyone—men and women, adults and children alike. Every new person is a potential best friend, and personal space is apparently an optional concept when there are hugs to be given. Sari is ready to shower you with affection from the very first meeting. Her capacity to trust and love is nothing short of extraordinary.
Sari is already familiar with the comforts of home. She is house-trained, can stay home alone without problems, and walks beautifully on a leash. She gets along wonderfully with other animals and is particularly fond of cats. She also loves car rides, happily settling into the front seat to watch the world go by through the window. Clearly, she has places to be and scenery to admire!
Sari is everything you could wish for in a companion: affectionate, sociable, gentle, and wonderfully trusting. She has already overcome so much, and now all she needs is a family who will see beyond her disability and recognize the incredible dog she is.
We dream of finding Sari a home where she will never again have to fight for survival - a home where she can enjoy the simple pleasures of life, from cozy naps and leisurely walks to car rides and endless cuddles. Please give Sari the chance she deserves!

Graph is a handsome Russian Hunting Spaniel, white with charming black speckles and a personality just as distinctive as his coat. He was found begging for food on the street, and we couldn't locate his previous owners.
Russian Hunting Spaniels were bred to work closely with people, and Graph is a perfect example of that people-oriented nature. He loves human company and is affectionate, social, and eager to be part of whatever is happening around him.
Graph is an active young dog who needs more than a quick walk around the block. He will be happiest with a family that enjoys long walks, hikes, exploring, and spending time outdoors. He is intelligent, energetic, and thrives when he has enough activity and attention.
At home, however, Graph is wonderfully well-behaved. He doesn’t destroy things and can stay home alone for a couple of hours. On his first day in foster care, he looked around for a possible escape route - but by the next day, he had settled in and become the perfect gentleman.
Graph loves people and children and has shown no aggression at all. He gets along well with other dogs, both males and females. He hasn’t met cats yet, so we don’t know what he thinks of them.
He also travels well in the car and is comfortable on the road.
We are quite sure that Graph once had a home. He is simply too comfortable around people and too familiar with life indoors to seem like a dog who has always lived on the street.

Have you ever met a flying dog? Meet Magda!
Magda is a two-year-old Setter, and apparently nobody ever told her that dogs are supposed to keep all four paws on the ground. She doesn’t simply run - she launches herself into the air, ears flying, legs stretched out, looking more like a happy bird.
Magda was found wandering the streets; sadly, no one came looking for her. Now she has settled beautifully into her foster family pack and is proving to be exactly what you’d expect from a Setter: elegant, cheerful, athletic, curious, affectionate and always ready for the next adventure.
Magda LOVES to move. Running? Absolutely. Playing? Obviously. Swimming? Even better. Her true passion is hiking over rugged terrain, where she can use all those impressive Setter engines for what they were designed to do.
Setters were originally bred to work across large areas of countryside, using their incredible stamina and keen noses to search for birds. That explains a lot about Magda. Give her a trail, some interesting smells and a bit of wilderness, and she is in her element.
She will show you her “Setter gallop” - that wonderfully loose, springy, almost airborne running style that makes her look as though gravity is merely a suggestion.
Magda is also remarkably easy to live with. She travels beautifully in the car, behaves well at home, fits happily into a group of dogs, respects cats, and loves children. She’s smart and adaptable without being complicated - the kind of dog who can spend the morning conquering a hiking trail and then happily settle down at home afterward.
And when the day is finally over, Magda sometimes twitches her paws in her sleep - apparently continuing her adventures in Dreamland.
Magda would make a wonderful second dog for an active family who enjoys outdoor activities.
She is quite petite for a Setter: 58 cm (22.8 in) at the withers, 70 cm (27.6 in) to the top of her head, and 82 cm (32.3 in) from nose to tail. At 17 kg (37.5 lb), she is a compact little athlete with an impressive amount of energy packed inside. Fully ready for takeoff.

One day, a 100 Tails volunteer spotted Milly hiding in the bushes beside a marshy stream. It looked as though someone had brought her there and left her behind - and Milly simply stayed put, waiting for her person to return.
At the shelter, she was very quiet and shy at first. Milly probably had no idea what had happened or where her family had gone. But once she realized that we were there to help, Milly slowly came out of her shell. And what a transformation it was!
Today, Milly is an affectionate, sociable little dog who absolutely loves everyone. Her idea of a perfect day is pretty simple: a nice walk, some playtime, and then curling up beside a human on the sofa for a little TV watching.
Milly does have a couple of funny little quirks that tell us there may have been some difficult chapters in her past.
She is strangely suspicious of the backyard gate. She can happily walk around the yard, but when it’s time to go through the gate, she suddenly turns into a tiny anchor and digs in her heels. Once she’s actually out on the street, though, she walks perfectly well on a leash.
She also gets nervous when someone carries her and then tries to put her down. We can only guess why. Perhaps she once had to roam the streets on her own, and being put down outside became associated with being left to fend for herself?
The good news is that Milly is healthy and emotionally balanced; she’s already used to two walks a day, and she is also perfectly happy to use a pee pad when needed.
Milly is now looking for a family who will give her a little patience, help her work through her few insecurities, and show her what a safe, happy home really looks like.
In return, you’ll get a cheerful, affectionate companion who would very much like to spend the rest of her life where she belongs: next to her humans.

Meet Polly - our beautiful Pinscher cross! When you first meet her, she may hang back and quietly observe. But give her a few minutes, speak to her kindly - and you'll immediately see how this shy little wallflower becomes a happy, affectionate companion who's ready to be your shadow.
Polly's story didn't begin easily. As a puppy, she was abandoned on a highway, where she was hit by a car and broke her leg. Thanks to surgery and a lot of care, she made a full recovery. Today, she jumps into the car without a second thought and rides like a seasoned traveller, leaving that frightening chapter far behind.
At just 25 pounds, Polly is the perfect size to join you almost anywhere. She loves being part of everyday life: morning walks, weekend adventures, coffee runs, or simply curling up nearby while you relax at home. Once Polly gives you her heart, she gives it completely. She'll greet you with soulful eyes, gentle kisses, and the quiet companionship that makes a house feel like home.
Like many devoted little dogs, Polly prefers not to be left alone for long. She may whine or decide that a toy or a shoe deserves some redesign while she waits for you. Fortunately, she's wonderfully calm around other dogs and enjoys having canine company.
Polly has lovely manners. She's house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and lives peacefully with a cat. She adores other dogs, is wonderful with children, and will happily make new friends, especially if they happen to have treats.
When Polly gets really excited, she'll let out a few cheerful barks to share her happiness. If she ever feels trapped or uncertain, she may bark to let you know she's uncomfortable, but with reassurance and patience, her confidence continues to grow.
Polly is healthy, resilient, and full of love to give. She doesn't need a perfect family - just one that will make her feel safe, include her in life's little moments, and love her as much as she'll love them.

Haze is a small Husky-type boy with a huge heart and an incredible will to live.
He is almost fox-sized - a miniature fella with a personality much bigger than his body. He’s around 3–4 years old, right in the prime of his life.
Haze has already been through more than most dogs ever should. He recently underwent surgery to remove a tumour from his paw, and he is almost blind. But somehow, none of this has taken away his joy for life. Haze is active, cheerful, playful, and wonderfully affectionate.
He absolutely adores people and is gentle and friendly with dogs, cats, and children. He knows commands, listens well, and behaves beautifully on walks.
Haze is a true little fighter. Despite his limited vision and everything he has been through, he still trusts people completely. And that trust is exactly why we are so worried about him.
Haze is currently in foster care, but the shelter situation is becoming increasingly difficult, and he desperately needs a permanent home.
A dog with such limited vision cannot safely survive on the streets. Haze is far too trusting and gentle to fend for himself — he needs someone who will give him the safe, loving home he deserves.

Meet Jane Birkin, a fluffy little celebrity who got her name for a reason: she was found inside a purse. Fortunately, her story didn’t end there. Jane is now about 3.5 years old and very much ready for the next chapter - preferably one involving a family, a comfortable sofa, and plenty of cuddles.
Jane weighs about 35 lb, stands 17 inches tall, and is about 28 inches long. She is fluffy, funny, wonderfully playful, and always ready to explore whatever interesting is happening around her. She especially loves children and never misses an opportunity to join their games.
Jane is also an enthusiastic student. Give her something new to learn and she is happy to give it a try - especially if there is praise involved. She has a cheerful, curious personality and seems to believe that most problems can probably be solved with a little play.
She is not, however, campaigning for a career as a marathon hiker. Jane is more of a moderate-walk kind of girl. She enjoys getting outside and exploring, but she doesn't need hours of jogging to be happy. Water? Not particularly impressed. Snow? Now we're talking. Jane absolutely loves rolling around in the snow.
And then there is her greatest talent: cuddling. Jane is a true cuddle champion!

Meet Tom Belkin — our fluffy little miracle looking for a forever home!
Belkin is a 2-year-old Russian Laika (husky mix), about 45 cm tall, and truly the kindest soul. He’s intelligent, affectionate, and endlessly optimistic — the kind of dog who greets each day with quiet joy and a wagging tail.
Life hasn’t been easy for him. Belkin survived a car accident that left him with a broken pelvis and an old hip injury. He carries a little limp as a reminder, but it doesn’t weigh down his spirit. He walks happily, enjoys moderate strolls, and plays gentle games — always cheerful, ready to share his love.
What makes Belkin special is not just his resilience, but the way he radiates calm and kindness. He loves cuddles, gets along beautifully with other pets, and has a way of making everyone around him feel at peace.

Ozzy is a young dog who never gave up on people, even after spending most of his puppyhood waiting behind shelter walls.
Ozzy was rescued when he was only about 7 months old. While other puppies were growing up in homes, learning about the world and building bonds with families, Ozzy spent nearly a year in a shelter, hoping someone would notice him.
Two months ago, he finally got his chance.
Ozzy moved into a foster home with two humans and seven dogs, and what we've discovered is a truly wonderful companion. Despite everything he's been through, Ozzy is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. While many dogs are focused on playing with other dogs, Ozzy's favourite company is human. He simply wants to be near his people, quietly sharing whatever the day brings.
He isn't aggressive in the slightest and generally pays little attention to other dogs. He's polite, calm, and prefers making friends with humans instead. Ozzy already knows how to sit and offer his paw, walks nicely on a leash, and is eager to learn more. He's a smart young dog who enjoys positive attention and praise.
Like many dogs who have spent a long time in a shelter, Ozzy can still be startled by sudden loud noises. But with every passing week, his confidence grows, and he continues to discover that the world is a much kinder place than he once thought.
