Some dogs begin life surrounded by love. Hina wasn't one of them.
At just 3 months old, she and her sister were chained outside to guard a chicken coop and goat shed. They spent their puppyhood tied up, surviving on bones and scraps. They never played, never explored, never learned what it meant to simply be puppies.
Then one day, they were no longer wanted. Their owner untied them, took them to a nearby street, and left them there.
By the time we found Hina, she was barely hanging on. Hunger had driven her to swallow so many sharp bones that her stomach was completely packed with them. She was rushed straight to the vet hospital, where the vets fought to save her life.
Today, it's almost impossible to believe this bright, joyful little dog is the same puppy! Hina is playful, curious, and endlessly affectionate. She has a gentle soul and loves everyone she meets. She's wonderful with children and enjoys being around other dogs. While she's a little more reserved than her confident sister, she blossoms quickly once she realizes she's safe.
Because Hina spent her early months chained, everything in the world was new to her. With patience and kindness, she's learned so much. She now walks beautifully on a leash and loves her regular walks on the oceanside.
Large dogs can make her a little nervous at first, so proper introductions are important. She hasn't been introduced to cats yet, but we believe she has every chance of getting along well with them.
Hina rides calmly in the car and grows more confident every day. We took her to a lively children's event in the park, and within minutes she was happily exploring, playing, and taking it all in stride.
Since her rescue, Hina has been living with other dogs, so we don't yet know how she'll feel about being left home alone. What we do know is that she's very sweet around people. Most of all, she's ready for a family to call her own.

Meet Darcy - a handsome setter/lab cross!
Darcy is kind, obedient and wonderfully easygoing. There's no wild streak hiding underneath - just a lovely, affectionate dog who loves being around people and is always ready to join in whatever you're doing.
He has a very typical Labrador personality. Darcy loves water, playing with a stick, exploring surroundings - an activity he takes very seriously - and, of course, cuddling. Give him a walk, a game, a chance to splash around, or simply a comfortable spot next to you, and Darcy is perfectly happy.

Graph is a handsome Russian Hunting Spaniel, white with charming black speckles and a personality just as distinctive as his coat. He was found begging for food on the street, and we couldn't locate his previous owners.
Russian Hunting Spaniels were bred to work closely with people, and Graph is a perfect example of that people-oriented nature. He loves human company and is affectionate, social, and eager to be part of whatever is happening around him.
Graph is an active young dog who needs more than a quick walk around the block. He will be happiest with a family that enjoys long walks, hikes, exploring, and spending time outdoors. He is intelligent, energetic, and thrives when he has enough activity and attention.
At home, however, Graph is wonderfully well-behaved. He doesn’t destroy things and can stay home alone for a couple of hours. On his first day in foster care, he looked around for a possible escape route - but by the next day, he had settled in and become the perfect gentleman.
Graph loves people and children and has shown no aggression at all. He gets along well with other dogs, both males and females. He hasn’t met cats yet, so we don’t know what he thinks of them.
He also travels well in the car and is comfortable on the road.
We are quite sure that Graph once had a home. He is simply too comfortable around people and too familiar with life indoors to seem like a dog who has always lived on the street.

Meet Mitchi — a young dog who has every reason to distrust people, yet still chooses to love them.
Mitchi was once someone's family dog. When they no longer wanted her, she was left behind and forced to fend for herself. Despite heartbreak, injury, and hardship, she never lost her gentle nature or her faith in people.

Rula was found in the mountains as a puppy less than two months old, sitting on a cliff and looking around in wonder. She lived in a shelter her entire life, but didn't become feral or untrained like many others. Rula remained the same surprised puppy.
Rula is one of the kindest and most affectionate dogs we've ever seen! She has never shown aggression toward humans or other animals and loves puppies and small dogs - she protects them, cleans them, licks their ears, and plays with them very gently.
Once she trusts a person, she unobtrusively tries to be near them and is always very attentive to their needs - she'll fetch a toy or try to share a bone. Or she'll simply watch attentively, preferably pressed as close to his human as possible.
Rula is gentle, shy, never demanding, begging, or causing trouble. She always gives way to other animals for breakfast, treats, or companionship, not because she needs it less than everyone else, but because she just hates being insolent.
From puppyhood to this day, Rula has maintained a joyful interest in the world around her and a slight amusement at what's going on. She is very responsible and obedient, always happy when she does something right and shyly delights in praise. She walks perfectly on a leash, is trained to do all her business outdoors, and in open areas, doesn't run away and tries to stay close to people. This dog will never demand attention, but will always wait for it modestly and patiently.

Haze is a small Husky-type boy with a huge heart and an incredible will to live.
He is almost fox-sized - a miniature fella with a personality much bigger than his body. He’s around 3–4 years old, right in the prime of his life.
Haze has already been through more than most dogs ever should. He recently underwent surgery to remove a tumour from his paw, and he is almost blind. But somehow, none of this has taken away his joy for life. Haze is active, cheerful, playful, and wonderfully affectionate.
He absolutely adores people and is gentle and friendly with dogs, cats, and children. He knows commands, listens well, and behaves beautifully on walks.
Haze is a true little fighter. Despite his limited vision and everything he has been through, he still trusts people completely. And that trust is exactly why we are so worried about him.
Haze is currently in foster care, but the shelter situation is becoming increasingly difficult, and he desperately needs a permanent home.
A dog with such limited vision cannot safely survive on the streets. Haze is far too trusting and gentle to fend for himself — he needs someone who will give him the safe, loving home he deserves.

Meet Tom Belkin — our fluffy little miracle looking for a forever home!
Belkin is a 2-year-old Russian Laika (husky mix), about 45 cm tall, and truly the kindest soul. He’s intelligent, affectionate, and endlessly optimistic — the kind of dog who greets each day with quiet joy and a wagging tail.
Life hasn’t been easy for him. Belkin survived a car accident that left him with a broken pelvis and an old hip injury. He carries a little limp as a reminder, but it doesn’t weigh down his spirit. He walks happily, enjoys moderate strolls, and plays gentle games — always cheerful, ready to share his love.

Ozzy is a young dog who never gave up on people, even after spending most of his puppyhood waiting behind shelter walls.
Ozzy was rescued when he was only about 7 months old. While other puppies were growing up in homes, learning about the world and building bonds with families, Ozzy spent nearly a year in a shelter, hoping someone would notice him.
Two months ago, he finally got his chance.
Ozzy moved into a foster home with two humans and seven dogs, and what we've discovered is a truly wonderful companion. Despite everything he's been through, Ozzy is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. While many dogs are focused on playing with other dogs, Ozzy's favourite company is human. He simply wants to be near his people, quietly sharing whatever the day brings.
He isn't aggressive in the slightest and generally pays little attention to other dogs. He's polite, calm, and prefers making friends with humans instead. Ozzy already knows how to sit and offer his paw, walks nicely on a leash, and is eager to learn more. He's a smart young dog who enjoys positive attention and praise.
Like many dogs who have spent a long time in a shelter, Ozzy can still be startled by sudden loud noises. But with every passing week, his confidence grows, and he continues to discover that the world is a much kinder place than he once thought.
