Meet Elton — a young, happy beagle boy! Elton is about 45 cm tall, weighs 36 lbs, and aside from one old rib fracture — the result of a past beating — he’s in great health and doesn’t require any treatment.
Elton’s story began on a highway, where he was found starving and exhausted, waiting for something good to finally happen. When a car stopped and a 100 Tails volunteer stepped out, Elton understood immediately — this was his chance. Within seconds, he was jumping, wagging, and hugging, as if he’d been saving all his joy for that one moment. He is currently thriving in our foster care, waiting for his new family to make him their silly dog.
Like any true hound, Elton is curious, social, and full of energy. He’ll thrive with a family that enjoys outdoor activities and has time to share his enthusiasm for exploring wildlife. He’s easygoing with other dogs, affectionate with people. He shows a particular fondness for male humans and plays with kids.
We haven't tested Elton with cats yet.
He rides in the car like a pro but still needs some practice on the leash.
Beagles like Elton are cheerful, intelligent, and endlessly curious dogs — small in size but big in personality. They thrive on companionship and rarely meet a stranger they don’t like. This beautiful, fluffy terrier mix wandered into a quiet village one day—and decided to stay for a little while. She had no collar, no direction, but the kind people she found saw something in her eyes that made it impossible to look away.
We soon learned that Lapsi did have owners, but they had cast her out, claiming she wasn’t "meant to be a house dog." They let her roam the village alone, and when we came to take her, they were relieved—glad, even—to see her go. They helped lift her into the car without a second thought.
It turned out Lapsi was in pain. She had a condition that prevented her from fully closing her eyes—something that required urgent surgery. We don’t know how long she lived like that, but we know she’ll never have to suffer again.
Why the name Lapsi? She came to us on Children’s Day. A quick search told us that lapsi means "child" in Finnish. It felt perfect: on a day meant to protect the innocent, we rescued this little "child" of a dog.
Lapsi is now healing, safe, and ready for a fresh start. She’s about 1–2 years old, with a calm and affectionate nature, a pair of irresistibly floppy ears, and a quiet strength that touches everyone she meets.

Meet Marta — a mystery, a legend, and a total sweetheart looking for her forever home.
Marta weighs about 38 lbs and stands knee-high. She comes with an incredible life story, most of which she’s keeping to herself. Even the vets couldn’t guess her exact age — her teeth are better than those of 2-3 year old dogs (not a speck of plaque!), though her front teeth are a little worn from a life on the streets, chewing on whatever she could find. But one thing’s for sure: she’s young, playful, and full of life.

Marta loves kids. When she lived on the streets, neighborhood children would hang all over her and she adored it. She’s great with cats and couldn’t care less about birds.
With other dogs, she’s perfect. She’ll wrestle with the energetic ones, politely ignore the cranky ones, and mother the puppies.

You can still feel the faint trace of a municipal tag on her ear, meaning Marta once went through a city shelter before someone removed it. What happened next is a mystery until the day her foster dad rescued her. Marta lived with a street pack, dedicating herself to collecting scraps to feed the younger pups. One day, she made the right decision, walked into his yard, and decided to stay.

Marta would thrive in a family with kids, other dogs, or both. She’s calm, kind, and endlessly loyal. And after everything she’s been through, she deserves a soft bed, a loving family, and a happy ending.

Now one year old and just 22 lbs, Joy is safe in foster care with 100 Tails. He’s affectionate, eager to learn, and happiest in a family environment. Joy would do especially well with another friendly dog or a cat to keep him company.
This boy lives for toys — especially balls! He’s not just a fetch enthusiast; he’ll happily ride around with his favorite stuffies.
At home, Joy is well-mannered and calm. He knows house rules, doesn't chew things up, and easily transitions between indoor living and time in the yard.

Aira is truly one of a kind! She lost part of her back leg—most likely from a trap—but it hasn’t made her bitter or fearful. Instead, she is pure love and trust.
She is calm, gentle, and affectionate with everyone she meets—children, adults, dogs, and even cats. Aira shows no aggression whatsoever. She’s incredibly smart, understands not just words but even your look, walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and has no fears.
Rescued from a highway, and we couldn’t possibly send her back—she is far too precious. Aira is what we call a “dream dog”: social, kind, and endlessly loving. Whoever opens their home to her will be truly lucky.
Aira may look small and unassuming, but inside she is all heart and cuddles. All bad is behind her—what lies ahead is the happiness she deserves.

Tyler’s journey began on the streets, where he was found begging for food. With the help of the wonderful volunteers from Dog's Ambulance, he recovered and transformed into a healthy, happy, and confident young dog, now ready to join a family of his own. We at 100 Tails are proud to have him!
Pointers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and sensitive, affectionate nature—and Tyler is no exeption! He’s a true sniffing genius, curious about the world around him and happiest when he has the chance to explore outdoors. He would thrive in a home where he can enjoy plenty of activity—whether it’s hiking, running, swimming, or just joining you on long walks.
Tyler adores people and is incredibly gentle with kids. He has no problem living with cats and would also do wonderfully as a second dog in an active household.
