The Very Handsome Beagle

Hello everyone, my name is Newton!

Once, I was abandoned and left at a landfill by someone who didn’t care if I lived or died. A backyard breeder probably didn’t sell me and thought I wasn’t worth keeping. I was left in a faraway country, where no one seemed to want me.

MY STORY

But then something amazing happened. Some incredibly kind people at a shelter found me. They gave me food, care, and a little bit of love.
Still, no one wanted to adopt me.

MOSCOW

Until one day, a beautiful lady from Canada saw me. She found me a family and arranged for me to come to Canada.

My life changed forever!

First, I was sent to a temporary foster home in Moscow. Here I gained valuable experience of living in the city, as well as all the necessary vaccinations and a real international passport.

VANCOUVER, CANADA

Now, I live in a home filled with love. My mom and dad adore me—they love me to the moon and back! I even have a wonderful sister, another beagle just like me. We have so much in common—we play together, we bark together, we eat together, and we wag our tails side by side. We’re a team in everything we do.
I’ve had so many adventures since arriving in Canada! I go on hikes, I travel to beautiful lakes, and I even get to stay in pet-friendly hotels with my sister. I also attend training classes where they teach me good manners, so I can be the best version of myself.
I can’t begin to express how grateful I am to those kind hearts who gave me a chance, who saved my life and brought me to a place where I’m cherished. Thanks to them, I’m not just surviving—I’m thriving. I’m healthy, happy, and deeply loved.

There are different kinds of friends. You love each one in their own way. And if your friend can't sit under a warm blanket by the fireplace, you put on your boots and go into the forest with him. To live his life for two hours. To explore the wet moss, new paths and the forest full of freedom and adventures together. And he rushes forward, enjoying himself to the fullest. It's amazing how much power and energy this dog has and how he has preserved it all in his difficult life. As if he knew that all this was yet to come. And the fireplace and the blanket and love. And the owners ready to share his life with him.

Newton was incredibly lucky throughout his journey. Many wonderful people on all continents helped him. And finally, he landed with the family of Ira and Andrey, where he is taken care of, loved, and looked after.
I hope that there will be more such rescue stories, and all homeless dogs will find a loving home.
